The love for our volunteers goes as deep as the ocean! As a 100% volunteer-run organization, our volunteers are the heart of Surfrider Miami. We have the greatest impact on change because of the passion, dedication and love our volunteers bring to the shoreline and beyond. 

If you aren’t already a volunteer of Surfrider Miami, join our network and help us tackle the issues that face our ocean, waves and beaches.

We are looking to grow our pool of water collector volunteers with a special focus on the Key Biscayne, Morningside, Little River and Pelican Harbor area. If you are interested, please email BWTF@miami.surfrider.org.

We are in need of a Beach Cleanup Co-Lead to assist our Beach Guru with cleanups in North & Mid Beach as well as on the mainland. If you’d like to help keep our beaches and coastline clean, please email chair@miami.surfrider.org.

We are looking for a Rise Above Plastics (RAP) Lead to help us raise awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution, by advocating for a reduction of single-use plastics and the recycling of all plastics and work alongside other RAP volunteers to eliminate the impacts of plastics in the marine environment. As we are in the midst of the 2024 Legislative Session, we are in need of a General Legislative Lead to keep their pulse on relevant legislation and opportunities to speak in front of the commission at both City and County levels, as well as motivate our followers and volunteers.
