April 26 -- Spring Beach Clean-up

In 1999, the Surfrider Texas Chapter adopted a mile of beach in Surfside, Texas to participate in the Texas Adopt-A-Beach Program. The "Surfrider Mile" runs from the Surfside jetty to the A-Frames vacation rentals. Surfrider volunteers clean this mile of beach twice a year as part of a statewide program coordinated by the Texas General Land Office.

Check-in for Surfrider Texas is 9 a.m. at Stahlman Park
Please check in at Stahlman Park before going to Surfside -- we need to be counted! This is also where you get your trash bags, rubber gloves (leather recommended, but you have to bring your own), and free hot dogs (starting at 11 a.m.).
