Team Captain Pat O’Connell is truly one of the sport’s great personalities. Regarded as possibly the “happiest guy in surfing,” Pat was first introduced to the world as one of the two co-stars of Bruce Brown’s classic The Endless Summer II. From there, Pat embarked on a 12 year stint on the WCT, where he earned the respect and admiration of his fellow pros, who named him athlete representative on the Association of Surfing Professionals. Pat’s recent retirement off of the WCT hasn’t slowed him down any, as evidenced by podium appearances at both the Body Glove Surfbout and O’Neill World Cup of Surfing.
