Signs!

Check out this public service announcement (PSA) reminding the public about their right to freely access Texas beaches under the Texas Open Beaches Act (TOBA) and the constant attacks to TOBA from folks who would financially benefit from restricting access to Texas Beaches to the public.

Surfcamp for the Blind 2007

Check out this video of the 2007 Surfcamp for the Blind shot by Nick Meyer. The tall guy with long blond hair and a blue rashguard is our very own Cliff! Cliff is the proud and generous organizer of this event and SR's Beach & Surf Activities Coordinator. A million thanks to Cliff and all of you who volunteered for the event.

Pick It Up!

Check out this 60 second public service announcement (PSA) reminding the public about the negative impacts trash has on the marine environment and the animals that depend on that environment. "Pick It Up" empowers individuals and communities to pick up garbage and get involved in beach clean-ups.

Pick It Up was created and directed by Benjamin Chen, Megan Peterson, Kelly Sayce and Rachael VanderWalde: MAS 2006-2007 Center for Marine Biodiversity and Conservation, Scripps Institution of Oceanography
